Meet The Team
“While I was fearing it, it came, but came with less of fear…
‘Tis harder knowing it is due, than knowing it is here." (Emily Dickenson)

Assistant Professor, University of Toronto & Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU)
Dr. Gili Adler Nevo is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience helping children, teens, and families overcome anxiety and build confidence in their lives. Throughout her career, Dr. Adler Nevo has been driven by a simple belief: when anxiety is recognized and treated early, it can change the course of a young person's life. She led the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Clinic at Michael Garron Hospital for 18 years before founding the Child and Youth Anxiety Clinic (CAYAC) and the Centre for Anxiety and Life Management (CALM).
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Adler Nevo is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University and is actively involved in advocacy efforts to improve child and youth mental health, expand access to psychotherapy, and promote healthier, more supportive communities for future generations.

Toni Solis
M.A., Registered Psychotherapist
Toni is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and more than 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in hospitals, clinics, and private practice, helping individuals navigate anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), perfectionism, and related challenges.
Toni has a particular passion for working with individuals affected by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), especially those experiencing deeply unsettling intrusive thoughts. She understands how frightening and distressing these intrusive thoughts can be. With compassion and without judgment, Toni helps clients make sense of their experiences, develop a new relationship with uncertainty and fear, and gradually break free from the cycles of avoidance, reassurance-seeking, and compulsions that keep OCD going. Through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD, she supports clients in reconnecting with what matters most to them and building lives guided by their values rather than by OCD.
Toni is also equally passionate about helping individuals who feel trapped by perfectionism, self-criticism, and the constant pressure to "get it right." She understands how exhausting it can be to live with impossibly high standards, relentless self-doubt, and the fear of making mistakes. The goal is not to help people lower their standards, but to help them find greater flexibility, self-compassion, and freedom in their lives.
Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based therapies, Toni tailors treatment to each person's needs. Clients often appreciate her ability to combine warmth and understanding with gentle honesty, creating a space where they feel accepted as they are while being supported to make meaningful and lasting changes.

Negin Ansari
M.Sc., Registered Psychotherapist
Negin is a Registered Psychotherapist with a diverse background in both clinical and developmental psychology. Originally from Iran, she earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences before relocating to Canada, where she completed a Master's degree in Developmental Psychology at the University of Toronto.
Negin works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, emotional challenges, and life transitions. She draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ERP, while tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs and circumstances.
One of Negin's greatest strengths is her ability to see beyond a person's struggles. While anxiety, self-doubt, or difficult experiences may bring someone to therapy, she is equally interested in understanding the strengths, values, and experiences that have shaped who they are. Her background in developmental psychology informs her curiosity about how people grow and adapt over time, even through life's challenges.
Having experienced anxiety herself, Negin brings a depth of understanding that is both personal and professional. She knows that growth rarely comes from criticism or pressure. Instead, she believes people change when they feel understood, encouraged, and gently challenged. Clients often appreciate her thoughtful perspective, understated sense of humour, and ability to make difficult conversations feel a little less intimidating.
Grounded, hardworking, and deeply compassionate, Negin approaches her work with humility and a strong belief in people's capacity to adapt, grow, and surprise themselves.

Natasha Berger
MSW, RSW
Natasha is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist who works with adolescents, adults, and parents navigating anxiety, life transitions, family challenges, and the ups and downs that come with being human. Before entering private practice, she worked in community mental health, supporting children, youth, and adults with a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns.
With deep roots in South Africa, Natasha has also lived in the Netherlands and Australia. These experiences have given her a deep appreciation for the many ways culture, family, identity, and life circumstances shape how people experience themselves and the world around them.
Natasha has a particular interest in the intersection of neurodiversity and mental health, informed by both her professional work and lived experience. She enjoys helping clients better understand themselves, make sense of patterns that may have felt confusing or frustrating, and discover ways of working with their minds rather than against them.
She draws from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
As both a therapist and a parent, Natasha understands that family life can be deeply meaningful, joyful, messy, and overwhelming—often all at once. She values working collaboratively with both young people and parents, bringing warmth, curiosity, and a down-to-earth approach to her work.
Clients often describe Natasha as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. She strives to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves, exploring difficult experiences, and finding a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable.
