Gili Adler Nevo, MD

Dr. Gili Adler Nevo is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with over two decades of experience working with anxious children, teens, and their families. She completed her medical education and residency in child and adolescent psychiatry in Israel, and further specialized in anxiety disorders through a three-year fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto. She currently holds the position of assistant professor at the University of Toronto and is appointed at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Michael Garron Hospital, where she leads the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Clinic.

Toni Solis

Toni Solis is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and a Clinical Psychologist in the Philippines, with over twelve years of experience in assessment and psychotherapy. She has extensive training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Toni has worked in diverse settings, including private practice, hospitals, and clinics, providing psychotherapy to families, children, adolescents, and adults. In Canada, she specialized in psychotherapy for anxiety disorders and OCD through an internship at Michael Garron Hospital.

Toni's experience extends to treatment interventions for adolescents and young adults with ADHD. Toni is deeply committed to providing client-centered care, fostering collaborative partnerships with both clients and their families to effectively address and improve symptoms of anxiety and OCD, and improving mental health outcomes across diverse populations.​​​​​

Negin Ansari

Negin Ansari is a Registered Psychotherapist with a diverse background in clinical and developmental psychology. Originally from Iran, Negin earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. Upon relocating to Canada, she completed a Master's degree in developmental psychology from the University of Toronto and specialized in anxiety through an internship at Michael Garron Hospital. Negin’s training in Paediatric Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is especially helpful in the treatment of trauma in children.

Natasha Berger
MSW, RSW
Natasha Berger is a psychotherapist who specializes in helping children and teens manage anxiety, build coping skills, and gain confidence.
Natasha is a Registered Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Her work in community agencies and hospital settings has spanned children, adolescents, and adults facing diverse challenges - including complex mental-health concerns, major life transitions, and relational concerns. These experiences inform an approach that honors each client's unique strengths, culture, and lived story. Her practice is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), considered the most effective treatment for anxiety, while also drawing on evidence-based methods such as Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, and aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to meet each client's individual needs.

Collaborative and compassionate, Natasha is guided by trauma-informed and anti-oppressive principles. She helps children, teens, and families build emotional regulation skills and recognize their strengths, empowering them to manage anxiety and other life stressors while creating lasting positive change.

Mimoza Jakova

Mimoza Jakova is a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work. She focuses on integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into her work, creating individualized treatment plans to address both individual and family needs.
Mimoza’s clinical experience includes an internship at Michael Garron Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Adler-Nevo, where she specialized in CBT for anxiety, helping clients manage and overcome anxiety-related challenges. She has also worked in community-based organizations and healthcare settings, enriching her approach with a broad range of experiences.
Mimoza has completed certificate programs in CBT and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has participated in several mindfulness-based programs. The knowledge gained from these experiences enhances her ability to support clients with a variety of needs.

Rebbia Shahab

Rebbia Shahab is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. She brings nine years of diverse, international experience (Karachi, Pakistan & New York, U.S.) in mental healthcare as a psychotherapist, researcher, and educator.
Rebbia specializes in supporting children, youth, and families using evidence-based and trauma-informed treatments, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and culturally responsive care. She has delivered psychotherapy in a range of settings—including hospitals, schools, and nonprofit organizations—through a client-centered and solution-focused lens.
In Canada, she completed a clinical internship at Michael Garron Hospital at the Child & Youth Anxiety Clinic, providing CBT-based treatment for anxiety disorders. Rebbia is committed to creating a safe and compassionate space where young people and their caregivers feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal.

Elmira Meamar
PhD, Registered Psychotherapist

Elmira is a Registered Psychotherapist with specialized training in CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-focused CBT and DBT. Originally from Iran, she earned her PhD in Psychology before relocating to Canada, where she became registered as a psychotherapist. She works with children, teens, and families experiencing the emotional effects of trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and depression.

With over 10 years of clinical experience in schools, hospitals, community organizations, and private practice, Elmira offers trauma-informed therapy grounded in attachment science and neuroscience. In Canada, she completed a clinical internship at Michael Garron Hospital's Child & Youth Anxiety Clinic, where she provided CBT-based treatment for anxiety disorders under the supervision of Dr. Adler-Nevo.

Elmira provides therapy in both English and Farsi and has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent children and parents seeking stronger connections with their children after periods of stress or disconnection.

Cathy Walsh

Cathy Walsh is a registered psychotherapist with over seven years of experience working with children, youth, and families. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and has completed additional specializations in Addiction and Mental Health as well as Systems Navigation.
Cathy has worked in community clinics, hospitals, and private practice, supporting young people through a range of emotional and behavioural challenges. She has a particular passion for working with individuals affected by anxiety and OCD, and specializes in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) - evidence-based treatments that help individuals break free from cycles of fear, worry, and avoidance.
She provides developmentally appropriate therapy that is playful and creative for younger children, and reflective and goal-oriented for teens. Cathy emphasizes the importance of collaboration with caregivers, incorporating parent coaching and support to strengthen family dynamics and reinforce coping strategies beyond therapy sessions.
She is dedicated to providing client-centred, strength-based care that empowers young people to understand their worries, build resilience, and take meaningful steps forward.

Renata Roma

Renata Roma is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in the province of Ontario, with over fifteen years of clinical experience in Brazil before moving to Canada. She earned her master’s degree in psychology from the University of São Paulo and completed her PhD in Child and Youth Studies at Brock University in Canada, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Saskatchewan.

Her background combines extensive clinical work with experience in research and academic scholarship at the international level. Her practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and she provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Renata completed her clinical internship at Michael Garron Hospital, where she specialized in the treatment of patients with anxiety, helping them manage and overcome anxiety-related challenges. She is also a Certified Pet Loss Grief Support Specialist through the American Academy of Grief Counseling, enhancing her ability to support clients facing significant losses.
